Uglies review

The book Uglies written by Scott Westerfield has won my acception by a landslide. His way of making a world of the future with a new civilization, but still having evidence of our world today is magnificent. At the beggining of the story the book gives us great description of the world that Tally, the main character, lives in without giving away anything important that happens later on in the story. His story, even though meant to be in a society where everyone is meant to be the same in both appearance and habits, consists of wide variety of characters. His characters' personalities range from:usually cautious Tally to the adventurous and straight-foward Shay(Tally's new found almost-best friend). It is addictively adventurous and extremely hard to stop reading.
